ABOUT WALTRICH PLASTIC

waltrichfront.jpg      Waltrich Plastic Corporation was created, in 1961, in order to process a recently developed thermo plastic named polypropylene. It was founded by Walter Polnau and Richard Pokrandt, hence the name Waltrich. They opened the first factory in New Jersey, initially to extrude monofilament yarns. Later, we started to weave the yarns into narrow fabrics. In the mid 70's, a second plant was established in Walthourville, Georgia. Our Georgia plant is much larger than the New Jersey plant was, so we consolidated equipment and manufacturing operations into the Georgia plant.

Currently, Waltrich Plastic Corporation manufactures monofilament yarns made from various resins. These monofilaments are sold to customers for various applications in addition to internal usage. We weave our monofilament yarns into narrow fabrics such as lawn chair webbing, binding tape, barricade tapes and other speciality products.

Waltrich Plastic Corporation has a broad range of customers with different needs. We have customers internationally, as well as domestically. Our experienced sales staff is here to help you meet your needs. They will work with you to match colors and patterns for custom orders and help you choose the product that is right for your particular application.
